“As an artist, I have been aesthetically inspired by the day-to-day world in which I live. I find uncommon beauty in the most ordinary objects, from lipstick to cactus. For the past several years I have been exploring how animals share with humans particular personality and emotional traits. I enjoy expressing this through sculptural interpretation of our domestic animal friends and local wildlife, such as owls and ravens.”
